official illustrations!

So I finally had the chance to scan in my last three illustrations and compiled them into one image. They look much better scanned in vs an iPhone photo!

Color blocking

Decided to create a more modern lingerie look by using color blocking. Color blocking has been pretty popular in ready to wear lately, so why not use it in lingerie too??

Step by step

Here's a step by step process of how I use my markers. I start by drawing out my design in pencil, then I add in my skintone color which is prismacolor pale-peach PM-207. And then I used Blondwood (PM-96) for her blonde hair color.
I then colored in her eyes, cheeks, and lips. Followed by her lingerie bodysuit. My final touch is to trace over my original pencil outlines with a fine point black gel pen.
And the final outcome is a lavender lace body suit topped off with my signature.

Testing some markers!

I didn't really learn much about using markers while in college so I thought I would try them out. I did an outlining markering technique instead of completely color everything in. I'm using prismacolor fine point markers and lighting from the right side.
I started off by drawing it in pencil. And then added my marker colors. (Light peach and deco pink). Then I outlined my sketch with eXcelGel .05mm gel pens. They give a really fine line and jet black ink which makes them perfect for adding detail.
